About our Center:
The Center is an innovative resource for Individual (Adult, Adolescent, & Children), Couples, and Family Counseling. Our goal is to help individuals navigate through the challenges of life as well as strengthen their various relationships. The Counseling Center operated as a family support ministry of the Oneonta Assembly of God and the Oneonta community. The center endeavors to provide competent, confidential, affordable counseling with flexible hours. The strength of the Center is its ability to come alongside you in your time of need and remain with you through the duration of your healing, offering accountability, prayer, encouragement, and counsel. Our effort to help you is rooted in Christian compassion. We know the pain and discouragement that surrounds the hurting. We strive for understanding and empathy, with spiritual direction. We’re simply her for YOU.
About Our Counselors:
Rev. Robin Grenier serves on our Pastoral staff as Counselor on Staff. She is the wife of our Lead Pastor Rev. John Grenier. Robin is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, has a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. As an experienced counselor, she integrates her training as a minister with her training in the mental health field. She has training in Individual and Family Counseling as well as advanced training in Couples Counseling. Her passion lies in being a resource for individuals and families who seek to restore balance in their lives and relationships. She is an advocate for positive marriages and families in the Oneonta area. She looks forward to working with you on your journey of life.
Rev. John Grenier, an ordained minister and Pastor of the Oneonta Assembly of God, is also available for counseling. His counseling is pastoral in nature, and is limited to one or two sessions.
